1. How can I buy Blocos or Camarotes Tickets for the 2011 Carnival?
If you´re not Brazilian you can use your credit card. Fill out the Purchase Order form. After you fill out the form you can e-mail or fax it to us (55 71 3797 6161) together with a copy of your passport and your credit card (both sides). We recommend you inform your credit card company about the international purchase.
2. Do I receive a receipt after the credit card confirms the purchase?
We e-mail the receipt to you right after the purchase is confirmed by the credit card company.
3. When and how can I get my Abadá?
You can get your abadá right in the Carnival week. Information tables with hours and places to get abadás will be posted on our site. Once you´re in Salvador and arrive at the informed place, please observe the ATENDIMENTO ESPECIAL sign where an English speaker will wait on you. Passport at hand.
4. I´m planning to be in Salvador during Carnival but I don´t know where to stay. Can you suggest any hotels?

5. What are some Dos and Don’ts of attending Carnival parties in Salvador?
Despite the fact that there are over 100,000 people working at Carnival specifically to provide party goers with security and assistance, adviceis always welcome.
• When you go out never carry too much money with you, only enough cash for your expenses, coins and small notes to facilitate change. No jewels, valuable objects, cameras, camcorders or credit cards.
• Take some ID with you, avoid using your passport for this purpose.
• Have your hotel address and telephone number with you.
• Wear sneakers or any other comfortable shoes.
• Try to be on the streets within a group and avoid getting out of a Bloco or Camarote.
• In case you need to get out of a Bloco or Camarote, do it after the Trio Elétrico parades.
• Wear sunblock during the day.
• Eat well, choose light food .
• Keep hydrated, specially with water.
